
My name is Patrick Healy, I have lived in Buxton all my life and have been an active part of the cycling community in the town for over 30 years. I’ve been a part of various clubs in the area and competed in dozens of events.
Professionally I have worked for large multinational car companies in recent years.

Rode for old times sake as last rode it in 1993. Not for the faint hearted.

Pat riding a 25 mile TT in Derby and going on to achieve a life time personal best in a time of 59 mins 53 secs. This was 20 years in the making.

Peak Ascent Cycles supported the 2018 Eroica Britannia, providing a repair service at the feed station in the grounds of Thornbridge Hall near Hassop, Derbyshire. Thousands of enthusiastic cyclists from all over the world riding vintage bikes on one of 3 set courses from 30 to 100 miles.

Cycling is classified as an essential service and Peak Ascent Cycles is able to reopen before the majority of other High Street businesses.

Peak Ascent Cycles have agreed to support Abby by providing discounted bicycle servicing and parts, and also free nutrition and water bottles.

Peak Ascent Cycles moves to a larger unit, 6 The Colonnade, in the heart of Buxton's finest architecture. We reopen with new brands, a larger workshop and staff.
