We created the Rail with two things in mind: maximum thrills and climbing hills. A tuned carbon layup makes railing through berms pure joy. The 27.5 wheels are all about being playful, poppy, maneuverable, and we’re confident you’ll come away impressed with what this bike can do.Revel Rail Custom BuildOur goal when building and spec’ing the revel rail was to build a bike which had componentry to complement the frame and incredible suspension kinematics.Being situated in the Peak District we are in the perfect location to access the Lake District and Snowdonia as well as having some hefty hills on our doorstep. We decided to gear this bike towards big mountain terrain whilst also giving it the ability to smash out bike park laps.We started by giving the rail a big hitting fork (Rockshox ZEB ultimate) to handle anything that you can throw at it. From there we decided to spec the bike with a 11-46t 11spd XT drivetrain, with 12 speed componentry being so hard to source and at a premium price this seemed like the perfect compromise and should anything go wrong out on the trail it will be easy to source spares and won’t cost the earth. We also added a 32t absolute black chainring to help with those technical climbs. The brakes are taken care of by Magura for their incredible stopping power and their customisation.Wheels built by Crankbrothers for compliance and stiffness in all the right areas whilst running on bombproof Industry nine hubs. These paired with Maxxis Minnion Dhf and Dissector as they are tried and tested by us and we have ultimate faith in them.The finishing kit is Burgtec, as they are based just over the hill from us in Macclesfield it seemed only right.And lastly the dropper post is from Bike Yoke for no nonsense up and downiness.This bike has had every component thoroughly thought out and wants for nothing but a rider.Josh Thorpe – Workshop Technician(The first image is a stock image not representative of the bike, all subsequent images are pictures of the actual bike)Medium Frame
